Choose a Better TV Position
Sit in the main viewing position before choosing the final height. The screen should feel comfortable without requiring you to hold your head tilted upward for long periods. Check glare at the times of day the room is used most, and account for how a full-motion mount may bring the screen closer or change its center.
Confirm that the mount supports the TV's weight and mounting pattern, and plan power and connected devices before installation. Only cables approved for in-wall use should be routed inside a wall. A few placement decisions made before drilling can prevent an uncomfortable view or a tangle of cords afterward.
